Yes, when you order the Theme Packs, you will receive a Theme Packs CD.

With Nero PhotoShow Deluxe, it's easier than ever to organize, edit, and share your photos in unique and exciting ways. You now can burn your own DVDs, and get a free Nero PhotoShow Circle website to post your photos and PhotoShows.
Unlike Nero PhotoShow, Nero PhotoShow Deluxe features a full array of tools to help you arrange, file, sort and search through your images and albums. All-new editing tools make it easy for anyone to touch-up photos or remove red eye, while handy features like "one-click authoring" enable you to make great-looking musical slide shows in just a few short moments. Plus, visit the "Make" screen to create or order unique, personalized items that feature your photos, including custom DVDs, fun photo gifts like t-shirts and calendars, and lab quality prints.
Nero PhotoShow Deluxe is the easiest and most complete photo management suite available anywhere!
6. If I already own Nero PhotoShow Deluxe, should I try PhotoShow Express?
No. Nero PhotoShow Express is a limited version of Nero PhotoShow Deluxe, with fewer features and reduced functionality.
Installing Nero PhotoShow Express when you already have Deluxe may create conflicts that prevent Nero PhotoShow Deluxe from performing correctly.
1. What is "Photos on My PC" and what does it mean?
"Photos on My PC" is where Nero PhotoShow Deluxe stores most of your photos. Any photos that you import from elsewhere on your hard drive or from your digital camera will be copied to this folder.
Furthermore, if you copy folders of photos into this folder when you are not running Nero PhotoShow Deluxe, these folders will automatically appear as albums the next time you run the program.
You can have Nero PhotoShow Deluxe manage photos that are outside of your "Photos on My PC" Folder by adding additional "Watch Folders" (under preferences on the main menu screen).
2. What is a Watch Folder?
"Watch Folders" are folders of photos on your hard drive that Nero PhotoShow Deluxe keeps track of.
If you add photos to these folders, they will automatically appear in Nero PhotoShow Deluxe. You can add Watch Folders by clicking "Options" on the main menu screen.
However, it is probably easier to store all your photos in one place such as your Nero PhotoShow Deluxe "Photos on My PC".
3. What is One Click Style?
One Click Styles are a way that you can use to easily create a PhotoShow in the style you like with music that corresponds with the style.
4. When I delete a photo in Nero PhotoShow Deluxe is it really erased from my hard drive?
Yes. When your photo is deleted in Nero PhotoShow Deluxe, it gets moved to Nero PhotoShow Deluxe's Trash. Then it disappears from your hard drive. However, the photo will only be deleted when you open Nero PhotoShow Trash and choose to empty it.
If you decide that you don't want to delete a photo you can open the Nero PhotoShow Deluxe's Trash and restore the photo. This will put the photo back into the album where it came from and will reappear on your hard drive.
5. To where and why are my photos copied when I create a Folder in Nero PhotoShow Deluxe?
When you import your photos from your hard drive, it gets copied to a folder in your Home Photos Folder. A single folder that contains all your photos is created in order for you to organize your photos. You can also archive your photos by burning your Home Photos Folder to a CD.
6. When I use the photo editing tools, are the changes permanent?
No. When editing your photos in Nero PhotoShow Deluxe, you can undo your last edit by clicking "Undo" or restore to the original photo by clicking "Revert to Original".
If you uninstall Nero PhotoShow Deluxe and have made edits to your photos, then those edits will become permanent if you also decide to remove the Nero PhotoShow Deluxe database. If you are not happy with your edits to photos, you should delete them or revert to original before uninstalling Nero PhotoShow Deluxe.
7. Can I email photos without making a show?
Yes, under the Share tab, there is a button called Send Attachments. This feature allows you to choose the photos you would like to send via the internet to your friends and family
8. Why won't my burned Video CD play on my DVD player?
Video CD is a format that is not supported by all DVD players. There are several different things to check if your burned Video CD (VCD) does not play on your DVD player.
Check the Owner's Manual of your DVD player to see if it can read Video CD 2.0 format. Also make sure your DVD player will recognize the media you are using; either CD-R or CD-RW. If not, then you will not be able to view your Nero PhotoShows on this DVD player.
If you used a blank CD-R you should check the owner's manual of your DVD player to see if it can read CD-R's. If it can read CD-R's but still won't play the Nero PhotoShow, you probably have a damaged CD-R. Burn the Nero PhotoShow again onto a new blank CD-R and try to play it again. If your DVD player cannot read CD-R discs, re-record your Nero PhotoShow to a blank CD-RW and try to play it again on your DVD player.
If you recorded a Nero PhotoShow onto a CD-RW you should check the owner's manual of your DVD player to see if it can read CD-RW's. If it can read CD-RW's and it still will not play, check the bottom of the CD-RW for fingerprints or scratches. Re-record to a new CD-RW or CD-R if necessary.
If you are unable to find information in your DVD player owner's manual, you can often find the information on the Internet. Check the DVD player manufacturer's website. You can also visit http://www.dvdrhelp.com/dvdplayers.php for information on many different DVD players.
If you recorded to CD-RW, your DVD player can read Video CD 2.0 format, and your disc appears to be in good condition and it still won't play, try recording on a different brand of disc. Your DVD Owner's Manual may provide information about a preferred brand of CD media.
9. What's the difference between CD-R and CD-RW blank media?
These are two different types of blank CDs that are labeled differently on their product packaging. CD-RW's are re-recordable and CD-R's are not. Some DVD players will only read VCD's made with CD-R media while others will only read VCD's burnt to CD-RW media. Some DVD players support both.
10. When I watch my Nero PhotoShow Deluxe Video CD on my DVD player none of my transitions appear. Why is that?
At this time, Nero PhotoShow Deluxe is not designed to support animated transitions and effects for a Video CD but uses a still image format to achieve better picture quality on your TV.
11. When I watch my Nero PhotoShow Deluxe Video CD on my DVD player I only hear the first song. Why is that?
Only one song is included for playback on a Video CD.
12. Nero PhotoShow Deluxe says that it can't find a burner connected to my computer even though I have one. Does Nero PhotoShow Deluxe support my CD burner?
Nero PhotoShow Deluxe supports almost all commercially available CD burners even though new burners are constantly being added. First make sure the CD you are trying to burn is blank. If you still cannot record to your CD burner, try to contact us for possible software updates.
13. Will my burned Nero PhotoShow Deluxe Video CD play on a computer?
If you have a DVD-ROM with additional software installed that allows you to play DVD's, then Nero PhotoShow Deluxe Video CD could possibly play on your computer. For better results, try burning your Nero PhotoShow to a CD-ROM.
14. Why doesn't Nero PhotoShow Deluxe let me import images from my camera?
Try to install the camera manufacturer's drivers for your digital camera and restart your computer.
After installing Nero PhotoShow Deluxe for the first time, restart your computer. When you launch the application again, attach your camera to the computer and turn the power on the camera.
A dialog should appear that asks if you would like to import photos from the camera.
Choose "YES" and you should be able to select what photos you would like to import from your camera into Nero PhotoShow Deluxe.
15. How do I order a photo gift?
16. How do I get to the 'Edit Screen'?
17. How do I delete a Folder or image?
You can delete photos and albums by either dragging them into the "Trash" icon in the lower left hand corner of the application, or placing your mouse over the album or image and clicking on the red "X".
18. Can Nero PhotoShow Deluxe be stopped from starting when a digital camera is connected to the computer?
19. Why can't I e-mail a Show with a custom mp3?
It is difficult for us to determine if you own the copyright to share your mp3 on our site. The 300+ songs that we provide all have had their rights cleared so they can be shared. However, you can publish your own custom mp3's (that you own the necessary rights to) with any of the other publishing options.
20. How do I add more than one song to my Show?
21. Can I use a song from a CD in Nero PhotoShow Deluxe?
Nero PhotoShow only supports music in the MP3 audio format. The music on an audio CD (and maybe some of your individual audio files) is not in the MP3 format, and will need to be converted before it can be used with Nero PhotoShow.
You can use a program called an "Audio Ripper" or "MP3 Encoder" to take music from your audio CD and encode it as an MP3 file. Here is a link to the audio section of Download.com
(This link leads to third-party software which is not created by Nero. Nero does not endorse or support any particular audio ripper or encoder software.)
22. Where can I upgrade to Nero PhotoShow Deluxe 5?
You can upgrade to PhotoShow Deluxe 5 by visiting usnero.photoshow.com/software/upgrade.
23. What's the difference between Nero PhotoShow Deluxe and Nero PhotoShow Express?
Nero PhotoShow Deluxe is an easy and complete photo management solution. Nero PhotoShow Express is a limited version that offers PhotoShow creation and limited sharing options. It doesn't include CD/DVD burning, advanced editing tools, FREE customized website and various sharing options, etc.
1. Does the Nero PhotoShow Express program have an option to categorize my folders?
This option is only available in Nero PhotoShow Deluxe.
2. How can I import my pictures to the Nero PhotoShow Express program?
You can easily import new images into PhotoShow.
To add new images:
3. What is the difference between an Album and a Show?
The Album folder is a collection of photos that have a common theme. They allow you to organize your photos into groups much like you would do with a bound photo album.
A Show is a musical slide show that lets you watch your photos like an animated music video. You can add animated clipart, speech bubbles and animated transitions between your photos.
Both can then be shared with your friends and family.
4. Can I use my own audio files to add to my Shows?
Yes PhotoShow supports .mp3 files.
5. With what effects can I customize my Shows?
You can add various effects like slide transitions, audio, clip art, and captions among other effects.
6. Is it possible to change the display time for the pictures in my Show?
You can change the duration for each photo from .3-10 seconds.
7. Can I add clip art to my pictures?
Yes, this is possible. Nero PhotoShow Express includes various clip art categories such as: nature, season, parties, sports, messages.
8. Can I purchase additional clip art images?
Yes, at this time we include 14 various categories of clip art in the Express version.
9. Is it possible to add captions in Nero PhotoShow Express?
Yes, this is possible. Select the edit option for the caption you would like to add picture to.
10. Can I print my pictures from the Nero PhotoShow Express program?
Yes. However, you are limited to 4x6 prints only.
11. How can I preview my albums?
Open the Nero PhotoShow program, select the "Manage" button and click on the "Photos on my PC" tab. Select the photo album to preview.
12. I want to share my picture with friends and relatives. Is this possible?
Select the "Share" button located at the top of the program and select the album/pictures you want to share. Nero PhotoShow Express has other features to choose from like: email a PhotoShow, share online, or burn a CD or DVD.
13. Why does Nero PhotoShow Express say it is failing to connect to the internet even though I'm connected?
Nero PhotoShow sometimes has trouble connecting to the internet if you sign on while Nero PhotoShow is already running. If you experience this problem, try signing on to your Internet Service Provider before starting Nero PhotoShow.
If you are already connected when you launch Nero PhotoShow, or if you have high-speed internet and are always connected, yet still encounter this problem, it's possible that Nero PhotoShow is being prevented from connecting to the internet by your security, anti-virus, or firewall software. If you have such software, please adjust your security settings to allow Nero PhotoShow access to the net, and/or lower your security index, and/or disable the software altogether.
14. Nero PhotoShow Express won't let me e-mail a link because it can't share shows with MP3 files, but I'm not using my own MP3. How do I share my show?
This may occur if you are using your own MP3 file on a specific photo. To share shows using Nero PhotoShow.com, there cannot be custom MP3 files anywhere in your show.
To check whether you are using an MP3 on a particular photo go to the Edit Show screen (the one with all the thumbnails of your photos) and look for a circled yellow 'i' in the bottom right hand corner of the photo thumbnails. This 'i' means that there are setting changes made for that photo. Double click on photos that have this circled 'i' and make sure that you don't have an MP3 file set in the soundtrack for these photos.
15. A certain transition or effect is appearing in my Show even though I don't have it set as the transition or effect for the show. How do I get rid of it?
This transition or effect is probably set to appear on a specific photo in your Nero PhotoShow.
To remove it go to the Edit Show screen (the one with all the thumbnails of your photos), and look for a circled yellow 'i' in the bottom right hand corner of the photo thumbnails. This 'i' means that there are setting changes made for that specific photo.
Put your mouse over the circled 'i' to see the transition effect sound track and speed settings for that photo. Find the photo with the unwanted transition or effect and then double click its thumbnail in order to edit that specific photo. Once you are in the Edit Photo screen you can remove the unwanted transition or effect.
16. Why can't I share a Show with a custom MP3?
Nero PhotoShows with custom MP3 soundtracks cannot be uploaded to PhotoShow.com for e-mail sharing or DVD ordering because of copyright limitations. Songs published in this way must be cleared by the copyright owner, but we have no way to determine whether you own the necessary rights to legally publish your MP3 soundtrack. That's why we've provided an extensive library of songs in the Nero PhotoShow Jukebox. All the songs in the Jukebox have been legally cleared so they can be shared with your show, online or on DVD. And with a hundred songs to choose from, you'll have no trouble finding one that complements your Nero PhotoShow!
If you want to publish a show with your own MP3 music (and you own the necessary rights to that music) you can use Nero PhotoShow's Publish to HTML feature to share the show on your own website. You can also share your show as a CD-ROM, VCD, or Executable.
17. How long do my shared Shows stay up on PhotoShow.com?
If you are using Nero PhotoShow Deluxe and have a premium Nero PhotoShow Circle account, your online Nero PhotoShows will never expire. If you are using Nero PhotoShow Express 4 and have a basic Nero PhotoShow Circle account, your online shows will expire after 30 days.
If you are using earlier versions, Nero PhotoShows shared by using the Email a Link function are automatically uploaded to PhotoShow.com, where they are hosted free of charge for a limited time. Generally, shows shared with a trial version of Nero PhotoShow will remain available for viewing on our servers for about 10 days, while shows shared with a paid version of Nero PhotoShow will remain for at least 30 days before expiring.
Expired shows must be re-uploaded for further online viewing. If you are the show's author, you can do this by again choosing to Email a Link in the Share screen of the Nero PhotoShow application. If you are not the show's author, you must contact the show's author and ask them to re-upload the show to PhotoShow.com and send you a link.

18. What digital image formats can Nero PhotoShow Express read?
On Windows, Nero PhotoShow can read all flavors of JPEG (jpe, jpg and jpeg), GIF, TIFF, BMP, and PNG image formats.
On the Macintosh PhotoShow can read all flavors of JPEG (jpe jpg and jpeg), GIF, TIFF, PNG, PICT, and many Adobe PhotoShop (PSD) files.
19. Does Nero PhotoShow Expressrun under Mac OS X on the Macintosh?
No, Nero PhotoShow Express does not run under Mac OS X or previous versions of the Macintosh operating system.
20. Can I add more than 24 photos to a Show?
Yes, you can add more than 24 photos to your Nero PhotoShow. In fact we've tested shows with over 800 photos in them and they work fine. Once a show has more than 24 photos you'll see a scrollbar which you can use to view the thumbnails for the entire show. Some trial, bundled, and free versions of Nero PhotoShow may limit the number of photos allowed in a show or the maximum number of photos you can share online. You'll see an error message if you exceed these limits. To remove the limits, upgrade to the full paid version of Nero PhotoShow Deluxe.
21. When I edit the photos in a slide show, do these changes affect the originals?
No. When you edit photos in a slide show, the changes you make will only affect how the photo looks in that slide show. The original photo will not be affected by your edits.
However, if you are using PhotoShow Deluxe to edit photos in a Folder the changes will affect the original photos. But PhotoShow Deluxe will always maintain a backup copy of the original.
22. Why can't I get a photo to line up with a certain point of a song when I publish my show?
Nero PhotoShow wasn't designed to allow super-accurate synchronization between photos and music in the published shows. If you want timing to be accurate between the music and the show you should watch the show from within Nero PhotoShow.
23. How long are my PhotoShows available online?
Nero PhotoShows are hosted for free on www.photoshow.com for 30 days.
If you are trying to view a show that you just shared and you are seeing this error, then there has been an upload failure and some of your images didn't make it to our server. You should disable any firewalls that you may have and try resending your show.
24. Can I burn a Show to DVD on my own computer?
No. Currently, the only way to get a Nero PhotoShow on DVD is to order it through the Nero PhotoShow DVD Service or upgrade to Nero PhotoShow Deluxe.
With the Nero PhotoShow DVD Service Nero's skilled editors will assemble your show, burn it to high-quality DVD-R media, print a professional label, and package it with a custom cover that incorporates your own photos. Your Nero PhotoShow DVD will include all the animated clip art transitions and music from your original slide show. The resulting product is perfect for preserving your treasured memories and for gift giving.
To get started, first create a show with your photos using Nero PhotoShow Express or Nero PhotoShow Deluxe. (You can download a free copy of Nero PhotoShow Express from www.nerophotoshow.com.)
Once you've created your show, click the "Order DVD" button on the Make screen to begin your order. Or if you're using PhotoShow, choose the Order DVD option on the Share screen.
25. I don't want viewers of my Show to be able to order a DVD. How can I prevent this?
We are pleased to offer the Nero PhotoShow DVD Service as an added benefit for Nero PhotoShow customers and their friends and family with whom they share shows.
As the creator of a show, you have control over how DVDs will be offered:
If a show contains your professional photography or other copyrighted photos, please be aware that the Nero PhotoShow software and PhotoShow.com online sharing are licensed to you only for your private, non-commercial use. If you have inadvertently published your commercial material to PhotoShow.com, please inform us (using the Request Help link to the left), and we will remove that show from our servers.
26. My copyrighted photos have been used in a show on PhotoShow.com. How do I get them removed?
Material on PhotoShow.com is published there by the users of Nero's software. Nero does not permit copyrighted materials to be published on PhotoShow.com without the authorization of the copyright owner. We will investigate all reports of misused materials, and will promptly remove any materials found to violate this policy.
If you believe this policy has been violated, and you are (or represent) the copyright holder, please provide us with this information:
27. Why do none of my show's transitions appear when I watch a Video CD on my DVD player?
Nero PhotoShow Video CDs (VCDs) use a still image format to achieve better picture quality when played in your DVD player for viewing on your TV. Unfortunately, this photo-quality VCD format does not support animated transitions and effects. We apologize for any inconvenience this may bring to our customers.
One alternative to burning VCDs is to order a Nero PhotoShow DVD of your slide show from our custom DVD Service or upgrade to Nero PhotoShow Deluxe. Unlike VCDs, Nero PhotoShow DVDs do not suffer from any limitations: they include all your animated clip art, transitions, and music. Nero PhotoShow DVDs are professionally produced and beautifully packaged, and you can even choose from a variety of personalized packaging styles that feature your own photos on the cover!
28. How can I add a title screen to my Show?
Here are the instructions for adding a title screen to your Nero PhotoShow:
29. Why are images made smaller when shared with the Email a Link or HTML options?
When you share your show or album online (using the Email a Link or HTML options) your images are automatically downsized to reduce the download time for the viewer. If you make sure that the original images that you use for your show or album are 800x600 (or larger with the same proportions), you will ensure that your online Shows are displayed at the largest possible size.
30. When I try to burn a CD-ROM, I get a message that says Burn Failed.
31. I want to burn my Show to VCD. What kind of blank media disc should I use?
Nero recommends that you use a CD-R or CD-RW disc when sharing your show with the "Make a Video CD" option. Do not use DVD-R media for this purpose.
32. Will the shows that I created with one version of Nero PhotoShow be available in another version or upgrade?
Yes. All versions of Nero PhotoShow (free, trial, and paid) share the same information regarding the shows stored on your hard drive. So shows made with an older, earlier, or limited version of Nero PhotoShow will remain accessible even if you uninstall the version of the software with which it was created (just be sure to choose to save your Nero PhotoShows during the uninstallation process!).
Please note that changes made to a slide show in one version of Nero PhotoShow will affect that show in all other versions.
33. When I share my Show as HTML and upload it to the web, it won't play. What's wrong?
The problem is an inconsistency in capitalization between the slide show filename and the reference to that file in the HTML of the "Flash Detected" page. The HTML calls for a file named "PhotoShow_olp.swf", but in fact the file is named "photoshow_olp.swf" with no capitalizations.
The solution is to change the filename for your slide show from "photoshow_olp.swf" to "PhotoShow_olp.swf". When you upload your PhotoShow to the internet again, it should play normally.
34. Can I use Nero PhotoShow Express for commercial purposes?
No. The user license agreement for all Nero PhotoShow software stipulates that Nero PhotoShow is meant for non-commercial uses only. This means that you cannot resell slide shows made using Nero PhotoShow.
35. I don't like the Nero logo which precedes the loading of my Show. Is there any way to remove it?
Sorry, but there is no way to remove the Nero logo from the beginning of your Nero PhotoShow. We're proud that people use our software in such fun and exciting ways, and we want everyone to know it!
